BALDY SLIDE OR STODDARD FALLS
Theres been some debate regarding the proper name of this waterfall. A few months ago Sean posted this thing on Facebook regarding this. He called it Baldy water slide. However this group calls it Stoddard falls. Perhaps we should ask the experts. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7rZZFCRcBq/?igsh=MTc...

Thanks Hikeup. I think that peak with the snow is rear guard? Or something like that as Sean. We did it a few years.

Re: Kolob Arch
I'm surprised to hear that Kolob Arch is the largest in the world. I've been to Arches National Park in Moab and I thought those were pretty unique. Anyways nice to know there's more to see in Zion besides the popular Narrows. Beautiful pics.

Re: LOOKOUT MTN #2
@Dima- whoever did some maintenance on this trail begins at the start of the trailhead and continues just a little past the saddle. Then you have to find your way through which isn't too bad.
However, if in the future anyone decides to do the route from Bear Canyon I would love to tag along.

Re: LOOKOUT MTN #2
Yeah we took the fire break and that trail that circles the summit gets lost. Then from the firebreak it gets sketchy. We literally scrambled straight up off trail. Lots of loose rocks and other stuff to maneuver around.

Re: Draft Trip Reports
This is the way I find my drafts.
I go to San Gabriel Mtns (or wherever I saved it originally) then select NEW TOPIC (as if you are starting a new tr) then scroll to the bottom and find LOAD DRAFTS and your draft will pop up.

CCC RIDGE TO DARK CANYON
I'm so behind on posts because I have not been in a good place lately due to recent events in my life. However hiking helps me de-stress and for a few hours I can forget about all the evil people in this world. Anyways, a few weeks ago, I re-visited these two areas and brought along two friends incl...

LOOKOUT MTN #2
I finally hiked up to Lookout Mountain three weeks ago. I really wanted to do the route from Bear cyn and finish what I started back in 2017. Anyhow, after getting The GPS track from Dima, I was confident I could do it. However, I read some recent reports that it was overgrown and unless you had a t...

Impressive Oak Springs
Last week I checked out Oak Springs Trail recommended by my friend Kristin. It did not disappoint! We found wildflowers along the way and some cool mushrooms which I posted under shroomies. The weather was overcast, chilly. and a bit windy. However, I was so impressed from the minute I set foot on t...

MT BLISS
It's been on my mind to hike up to Mt bliss again. I've recently passed by the mountain from the 210 freeway and the hills looked so lush and green. The last time I hiked Mt Bliss was many, many moons ago with Sean in 2016. My friend and I started at 745 am. It was overcast and freezing cold. Perfec...
