More Fuji shenanigans today. The primary objective was the old Pasadena Glen fire road again, but this time east of where I went last time. It was getting hot on the way up, so I decided to first ascend via Wilson toll road in the shade and then drop in down the ridge from Fuji. Just like last time....

It's a good mile according to AllTrails. It's a very interesting section of canyon and took me about an hour. It gets narrow and then opens up. Lots of cool twists and turns.

Rubio this afternoon. Snuck out during a brief break in the rain. Trail to pavilion is clear and in great shape. The canyon floor has new debris, but pretty passable and no significant landslides. Did not see a soul.

I was just there myself yesterday evening. So quiet and cool up there. The sunset from Mt Fuji was nice. The descent in the dark...meh, but I got it done and it was worth it. Saw a few hikers and mtn bikers ascending in the dark.
