Any new great brews out in the so cal area ? Went to a brew fest at jethawk stadium in lancaster put on by Kinetic brewery and the Bearded Brewer. There were 35 or so local breweries there but didnt taste anything outstanding other than a pisner that was brewed with Citra hops that was amazing. Brewed at Noble. Wish I could remember the name.....

Dang, I missed that event. I thought the stadium was going to be closed for a while. Last week the military repo'd the airplane from the front.

Depending upon your definition of "new," Golden Road Brewing in LA has some really nice beers. I've never been much for browns, but their Get Up Offa That Brown has made me a convert. Also really like their Point the Way IPA. Yay beer!

Golden Road - can't go wrong with their IPA. Plus it's just a few blocks from work!

Ohana Brewing - the available beers are constantly changing (wish they had the Grateful Hophead IPA still, it was one of my favorites) http://www.ohanabrew.com/beers.php

I've yet to try Angel City Brewery beers.

Pasadena's Craftsman Brewery is top notch stuff - available in restaurants only typically.

Plus one on the Point The Way. Some Trader Joe's are carrying it in cans, the only way that brewery rolls.
Next time out try the Wolf Among Weeds too...
