Saw a ram and two ewes on the north side of Harwood today. Hiking during the week and during a heat wave clears out the crowds and the animals come out. This was the most bighorn I've seen in the San Gabes. I got sucky pics of them as they were on a steep slope below me.

Cool. I stumbled across three ewes and a lamb Sunday on the east side of Baldy. The lamb was super cute. Mom glared at me suspiciously. I most often see bighorns early in the morning.

I see em all the time in the East Fork. Mostly close to the Bridge To Nowhere. They usually run in large groups with one alpha ram and about 11 females.

Sometimes you'll see them coming down for water from the cliffs high above. They're amazing climbers.

I found this skull near an old gold mine out there. Took it home and cleaned it up.
