Starting to bag the higher peaks as part of my Whitney training. I have two more months and I am both confident but nervous. Although I've hiked this peak before it was nice to take a different route. The first time I did this was with Sean & Henry and we started at Falling Rock Canyon. This time I took the traditional route up to Ice House saddle to Ontario Peak trail. it was a beautiful day, lots of water in the canyon and the small water fall was still flowing. Stats: 14 miles , ~4000' gain,

Awesome peak. I haven't hit the Cucamonga Wilderness this year yet -- I plan on bagging Big Horn Peak for the first time soon.

How's the route via Falling Rocks? Sounds hard.
