I met with my usual bunch of crazies on Wednesday to bag two more peaks in the Los Padres National Forest.
We met at the intersection of Pine Mountain Rd & Hwy 33. From there we drove one mile onto Pine Mountain Road 6N06. We walked a very short distance where 3 trails meet and we headed up the Reyes Trailhead (middle trail), making it a loop hike and exiting from the Haddock Peak trailhead.

Right from the start the trail starts to ascend steeply.

After a short distance the trail flattens out and from the Reyes Trailhead it's approximately 1.64 miles to the summit.

There are several huge rocks along the trail, but you need to pay attention to a rock with a small metal post that is barely visible on the right side of the trail. Then scramble up, otherwise you can walk past the summit. You will find the register under a tree opposite of the summit block. Once you climb on top you will have great views.

We then continued for 5.39 miles, walking on a single track trail through a meadow, but shortly after that we started to ascend and descend several times.
At this point you start to lose the trail as you walk over some rocks, but continue straight and the trail eventually leads right to the summit.

No BM, but there was a register.

Stats for the hike: approximately 10 miles with 2500' elevation gain.

Looks like you have a new summit pose. Is that called the one-legged Jesus?
