very nice. You found a couple morels, or maybe you know that? They're pretty delish and highly sought after. Around what elevation and face was this?

I think I can share the location without mis-representing myself as someone who cannot be trusted with special finds. The location was simply roadside on the road between the West Fork SG parking area and Cogswell. The photo was with me crouching on the road. You can see the asphalt in the photo. There were a few other morels but not many. I also did not spend time searching the vicinity more carefully. Were it not for the splatter from the trucks that come through I might have been quicker to keep them. I am very much aware of how yummy they are as well. That canyon is nice and shady and I would be surprised if it's not a great place to observe a variety of fungi.
