Great meeting you too! We actually spend a decent amount of time on the summit trying to identify everything in our surroundings. Looks like it was even clear enough to see part of the southern Sierra. Also looked for a summit register but didn't see any...
We made pretty decent time on our way back, although we definitely got slower on the last uphill section. It was around 7pm when we got back to the car...
