I did a run up the Vivian Creek trail to San G today. They still have an electronic sign saying the trails are closed, but permits are being issued. The bathroom was open and clean, yay! Basically no snow. The creeks are running, but pretty low.
After crossing High Creek on the way up, I normally cut across the awful switchbacks and head up and to climber's left. However, on the way back down I stayed more on the trail, and it turns out that the fire reached the area south of Dragon's Head, including a short section of the trail.
