I know everyone has climbed to Mt Baldy many times from every direction possible.

However, I just wanted to share pics from my glorious day on Mt Baldy, Wednesday.

I started to climb Register Ridge by 7am. I was making good progress and was so happy that someone from my group was actually slower than me. Lol

I would have made it to the top sooner but I promised a friend (who's recovering from knee surgery) that there was no rush. The goal was to see if she could summit and she succeeded with no issues.

The weather was perfect! The trail was in great shape! The magnificent display of clouds above were stunning.

We had the trail all to ourselves until we reached the backbone trail.

Just before the final push, I spotted a Big Horn Sheep. He was standing on top of some rocks soaking in the views. I was so intrigued with this majestic creature that I just had to stop. For a brief moment, I forgot about my destination.

We must have stared at it for at least 20 mins trying to get the perfect shot and admire it's beauty.

This was the first time I had ever seen a Big Horn sheep near Baldy. It was such a momentous occasion.

Anyways, after watching it descend the ridge we continued on to the summit.

At the top, the clouds put on a quite a nice show. We ended up spending over an hour at the the peak.

This was the best Baldy experience I've had. Mostly due to the beautiful clouds and the Big Horn sheep. It was truly an amazing day.

We descended the Devils backbone which wasn't too thrilling but overall a day I will never forget.

I hope you enjoy my pics.

Big Horn sheep is there. Can you see it?
